Arkansas Guard mourns passing of former adjutant general

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The Arkansas National Guard today mourns the passing of a former adjutant general, Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Charles H. Wilson. General Wilson died the evening of March 7, 2011 at the age of 99. 

General Wilson served as adjutant general from 1967 to 1970.

Visitation is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 10 at the Roller-Owens Funeral Home on J.F.K. Boulevard in North Little Rock, Ark. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, March 11 at the Highway Baptist Church on Roundtop Drive in Sherwood, Ark.  Burial will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock.
