Tour Arkansas with CALS traveling programs

Tour Arkansas with CALS traveling programs

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Get ready to tour Arkansas with the Central Arkansas Library System (CALS).  April is Traveling Arkansas month at CALS, and the whole system is offering programs that highlight Arkansas's best qualities.

Program highlights include photos of Arkansas, places of interest throughout the state, state parks, or books that have been read while traveling in Arkansas.  Many programs are interactive, inviting patrons to bring photos, postcards, or brochures of favorite places or trips in Arkansas, or review books read while traveling Arkansas.

A lesson in Arkansas history is offered at the Main Library campus in the very buildings that make up the Main Library, Arkansas Studies Institute (ASI), and Cox Creative Center.
