Toxicology report released in I-440 accident from March

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.(KTHV)- An update became available on Thursday about a deadly 18-wheeler accident that happened on I-440 in March.

Police say the accident was caused by the driver of a Chevy Impala who reversed down the interstate.

At the request of a THV viewer, we checked on this case and made contact with the family of Terry Harrell, the truck driver who died in that fiery crash.

The family revealed that the toxicology report for the driver of that Chevy Impala indicates that she was nearly 3-times the legal limit for alcohol, tested positive for marijuana and had Xanax in her system at the time of the crash.

THV was unable to get an update from prosecutors on possible charges.

However, the family of Terry Harrell says that a request has been made to go forward with manslaughter charges against the driver who reversed down the interstate.

Reports show the driver was not arrested at the time of the crash due to the severity of her injuries.
