Patients of Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH) will enjoy an hour-long egg hunt hosted by the William J. Clinton Foundation. Children who are admitted and visiting clinics at ACH will be able to take advantage of this special opportunity to have fun and simply focus on being a kid. The Foundation will hide more than 200 plastic eggs for patients to scout out in the open-air play area adjacent to the hospital lobby. Complete with rock formations, a water fall and fort, the space offers a wealth of possible hiding locations for these spring treasures. An Easter Bunny will greet the children, and once they fill their baskets, eggs will be traded for prizes.

Who:  Arkansas Children’s Hospital patients and Clinton Foundation officials and volunteers will be on hand for photo and interview opportunities.

When: Wednesday, April 13, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: The Arkansas Children’s Hospital outdoor play space, adjacent to the main entrance, at 1 Children’s Way in Little Rock. In the event of rain, the egg hunt will be held in the hospital’s lobby.

Additional information: This marks the sixth year that the Clinton Foundation has hosted the egg hunt at ACH.  The event is affiliated with the free Easter Family Festival and Egg Hunt held each year at Clinton Presidential Park. This year’s event will be on Saturday, April 16, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the park in downtown Little Rock’s River Market District. Past events have attracted thousands of families who participate in Arkansas’ largest egg hunt, which includes free games, activities and prizes. In the event of rain, the Easter Family Festival will take place on Sunday, April 17, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

For Media: Journalists are invited to attend the egg hunt at ACH. Patients whose parents sign release forms may be photographed and filmed. Outlets interested in covering the event can contact ACH Media Relations Specialist Hilary DeMillo at (501) 364-6445.
